John Dowd is a lifelong resident of Okaloosa County and a licensed Florida attorney with nearly three decades of experience in real estate law and business. Since earning his law license in 1996, John has helped more than a thousand clients navigate real estate transactions, investments, property matters, and complex real estate decisions throughout Northwest Florida.

With extensive experience in property and probate law, John's approach is thorough, thoughtful, and client-focused. He understands that some of the most important details in real estate aren't always obvious at first glance. From condominium declarations and restrictive covenants to HOA records and other property documents, John knows the value of looking carefully at the details and asking questions before a decision is made.

He has overseen closings representing more than half a billion dollars in real estate transactions, giving him firsthand perspective on the many situations that can arise when buying, selling, investing in, and developing property.
